Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is a mercurial singer and composer who weds Soul gospel Jazz and R&B with a distinctive mix. From Broadway to European clubs and festivals, Sunshine has performed all over the world. Sunshine is the daughter of Denise White. While she is a resident of Atlanta but she is out of Chester Pennsylvania where she began her musical vocation by singing and playing piano in the church. Her music career started in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The single featuring her voice, Stalk You a House 12 was only released in Japan. It's been remixed several times, and it is a mainstay of her live show. Her voice also appeared on the soundtrack of The Fighting Temptations. She took on the role of primary pianist for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her voice she asked Sunshine to be part of the Dreamgirls show during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was recognized nationally through her performances on four consecutive days in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention.
