Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress best recognized for her appearances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated in 2003 with her amazing performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. The role she played on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to catch her attention. Her first recognition came from her performance in the biographical 2005 documentary All the Way. This ballet and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. It was at this point that Bachchan added her star-power and attractiveness to her debut major film in English. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood with the hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). In April 2007, she was married to Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star as well as the child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that reunited two of India's most powerful people.
